# License This is the End User License Agreement for **Advanced Velocity**. By downloading, installing, or using the asset, you agree to these terms. !!!info Plain-language tl;dr (The full terms below govern.) You get a single-user license to use the asset on machines you control, for your own personal and commercial projects. Simulations, caches, and renders you create with it are yours, royalty-free. Your purchase includes all future updates to this product. The asset ships unlocked so you can open it up and learn from it — but you may not redistribute, resell, or share it, modified or otherwise. It's provided as-is with no warranty, and you're responsible for your own SideFX license compliance. !!! --- **Advanced Velocity — End User License Agreement** Last updated: 21/07/2026 This License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (the "User") and tonehammer ("Author") for the Houdini Digital Asset known as "Advanced Velocity" and any accompanying files, documentation, and resources (collectively, the "Asset"). By downloading, installing, or using the Asset, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Asset. ## 1. License Grant The Author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Asset on machines under your control, for your own commercial or personal projects, subject to the terms below. One purchase covers a single individual user. ## 2. Permitted Use You may: * Use the Asset to author velocity for simulations in your own personal or commercial projects. * Use simulations, caches, images, animations, and other final output created with the Asset freely, including commercially, with no royalty owed to the Author. * Install the Asset on multiple machines that you personally own or control. * Open the Asset and inspect how it works. It is deliberately shipped unlocked rather than black-boxed, so you can learn from it and adapt its behaviour inside your own scenes. ## 3. Restrictions You may not: * Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or share the Asset itself, in whole or in part, whether modified or unmodified. * Publish the Asset, or a derivative of it, on any public or private repository, marketplace, file-sharing service, or other distribution channel. * Present the Asset, or a modified version of it, as your own work or as part of a product you distribute. * Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, attribution, or proprietary notices contained in or accompanying the Asset. Inspecting and modifying the Asset for your own use is expressly permitted by Section 2; it is the *distribution* of the Asset or anything derived from it that is not. ## 4. Houdini License Compliance The Asset is built with and distributed as a Houdini Indie ("limited commercial") Digital Asset (`.hdalc`). You are solely responsible for ensuring your own use of Houdini and of this Asset complies with SideFX's licensing terms. Loading a limited-commercial Asset into a commercial Houdini session may affect that session under SideFX's rules; the Author is not responsible for your compliance with SideFX licensing. ## 5. No Warranty THE ASSET IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. THE AUTHOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE ASSET WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, OR BE FREE OF ERRORS. ## 6. Limitation of Liability IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PRODUCTION DELAYS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE ASSET, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO STOP USING THE ASSET. ## 7. Support and Updates Your purchase includes **all future updates to this product** at no additional cost — when a new version of the Asset is released, you are entitled to download and use it under this same Agreement. The **timing, scope, and content** of any update remain at the Author's sole discretion; this Agreement does not promise any particular feature, fix, upgrade schedule, or support response. Support beyond updates is provided as a courtesy at the Author's discretion. ## 8. Termination This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any of its terms. On termination, you must stop using the Asset and delete all copies in your possession. ## 9.
